Write the decimal as a mixed number with 10 as the denominator. Reduce the mixed number to the simplest form.
Write an equivalent mixed number with 100 as the denominator. Then write the decimal number.

Write an equivalent mixed number with 100 as the denominator. Then write the decimal number.
Write down the decimal divided by 1.
Divide by 10 for every number after the decimal point. (For example, if there are two numbers after the decimal point, then use 100, if there are three then use 1000, etc.)
Simplify (or reduce) the fraction.
