The area of the semicircle is half the area of the circle. Use the formula for the area of a triangle to find its area and the formula for the area of a semicircle to find its area.
Subtract the area of quarter circle from the area of whole circle.
first find perpendicular or height using pythagorus theorem then find area of the triangle.
find the height of triangle using pythagorus theorem.
Area of an equilateral triangle = \\((\\frac{\\sqrt{3}}{4}a^2)\\)
Calculate the circumference of the quarter circle and the perimeter of the triangle separately, then add them together.
To find the area of the compound figure, calculate the area of the semicircle and the area of the triangle separately, then add them together.
Calculate the circumference of the semicircle using the formula πr + 2r, where r is the radius of the semicircle.
Area of figure = \\(2\\times\\) Area of one triangle. Also find height of triangle by taking half value of the base side as base and 5cm as hypotenuse and find area of the triangle.
